Beer and tapas tasting
Za’atar, the spice most identified with the Middle East, which has starred in kitchens and folk medicine in the region for centuries, has now been introduced into drinks. The experts of the Jerusalem BeerBazaar researched and formulated the ultimate Jerusalem beverage – a beer that is perfectly brewed with Za’atar – not hops or a grain of any sort.
On the occasion of this revelation, an Israeli boutique tasting session will be held in the Mahane Yehuda market beer hall. Featured will be the intriguingly delicious za’atar beer and three tapas dishes, all presented with za’atar and the market’s purest produce.
The event includes
- Guided tastings of 3 Israeli Kraft beers and Za'atar beer
- Tapas dishes combined with Za'atar: potato borekas, hard-boiled egg and za'atar, hummus, tahini and za'atar and market salad.
- Bottle of Kraft Za'atar Beer and a bottle opener to take home
